The Pacific Palisades Republican Club will host a non-partisan healthcare forum on
Wednesday, October 13th at the Pacific Palisades Women’s Club, 901
Haverford Avenue. The forum will be open to the public, free of charge and will start at 7:30 PM.
The forum will discuss the impact of ObamaCare on consumer costs as it relates to hospitals,
physicians, health insurance and businesses. Following the panel discussion, the audience will
have an opportunity to ask questions. There will be four panelists, each an expert in his respective
area of healthcare and a moderator.
Panelists:
Dr David Feinberg, M.D., M.B.A., Chief Executive Officer and
Associate Vice Chancellor, oversees the hospital-based inpatient and outpatient
operations for the UCLA Medical Center.
Terry Jones, Associate Editor of Investor’s Business Daily,
works mainly on the newspaper’s “Issues and Insight” page, a widely cited daily
forum of public opinion.
Neil Crosby, Director of Sales for Warner Pacific Insurance
Services, is an authority on healthcare reform and healthcare legislation
issues facing California and the United States.
Dr Joel Strom, D.D.S., M.S. is a clinical dentist in private
practice in Beverly Hills. He is one of seven founding members of the National
Board of Docs 4 Patient Care, a new organization of healthcare professionals.
Moderator
Tim Smith, moderator, is the Health Policy Program Manager for
L.A. Care Health Plan’s Government Affairs Department.
